    Design and plant your own garden in a clean lined glass bowl. Simple step by step instructions will be given to create this miniature garden. Includes all materials needed. This is a great project for anyone. Come and have fun.

    There are great plants that can create interest in the shade garden with different textures and leaf shapes. Learn what plants do well in moist spots versus the dry shady spots and what will work in your garden. Also find out which ones the deer might actually let you enjoy!

    Learn about arboriculture at the U of I. Andy will discuss practices including installation, pruning, removals, and tree protection. Also included will be how the U of I became the only college or University in the state to be designated a Tree Campus USA.

    Connecting Your Landscape with Nature
    Melanie Schweitzer and Andy Swartzentruber ICL & GC Landscape Designers
    Let Mel and Andy bring inspiration to your garden or outdoor living space. They will present you with ways to enhance the beauty of our natural landscape by incorporating natural products, organic forms, and design concepts. Plant material, natural stone, and water features will be highlighted.
